DG Motors sits on the main avenue through Pedreguer and is exactly what it looks like: an independent garage doing general mechanical work, with Daniel running it and his hands in the engine bay. Not a chain, not a main dealer. You notice that in how you are treated and in the invoice.

What makes it different is who walks through the door. A large share of our customers are German, Dutch and British residents of the Marina Alta. They arrive with a car that often came over from home, with questions about the Spanish ITV and with a reasonable fear of not quite understanding what they are being charged for. Daniel is a native German speaker, so that conversation can happen calmly and in your own language.

Out of that comes the one promise we genuinely make: you get the quote in writing before we start, and that is the figure you pay. If something turns up once we open things up, we stop and you decide. It is the point our customers mention most often on Google, and the one that is hardest to find when you have just moved here.

Alongside everyday mechanical work we are a licensed LPG installer with homologation, we fit Zavoli and Gfi systems and we belong to ASETRAMA, the regional garage association. The entrance and the parking are wheelchair accessible, and you can pay by card or phone.
