LPG, or autogas, costs roughly half what petrol does at the pump. Your car stays the same car and keeps its petrol tank: the system adds a second tank and you switch fuel at the touch of a button.
Homologation included
In Spain an LPG conversion is only legal if a licensed workshop carries it out and it is recorded on the vehicle's technical sheet. We are a licensed installer, so the paperwork is part of the job and you get the car back ready for its ITV.

The DGT ECO label
A petrol car converted to LPG qualifies for the Spanish ECO label, with the driving and parking benefits that brings in the cities that apply them.
You still have petrol
The original tank stays exactly where it is. Run out of gas and the car simply switches back to petrol and you carry on driving.
The engine is no worse off
LPG burns more cleanly and puts less into the oil and the combustion chamber. Properly maintained, it does not shorten engine life.

A screw had gone through his tyre. It was repaired on the spot on Christmas Eve, which he had not expected at all.
He described the noise over the phone, sent a photo of the vehicle documents and received the quote by email. The timing chain tensioner was replaced in three hours and the invoice matched the quote exactly, even though a hose was connected and oil topped up on top of it. Back in Germany it would have cost considerably more.
His brakes failed three days before a flight home. Sorted within a day. It has been his garage for everything on the north Costa Blanca ever since.
He turned up without an appointment with a screw in his tyre. Under five minutes of waiting and twenty minutes later it was done. He had found the garage through the German group in Dénia.
Two other garages had failed to diagnose a noise. Here the cause was found within a few hours and the repair cost exactly what he had been told.
